Memorial weekend played out perfectly. Our first camping trip of the year was held at the Paha Campground near Bridgeport, California. With the snow capped mountains as our backdrop, and a rushing creek on the other side, this was definitely one of the most beautiful campsites we’ve been to yet. Our camp host was Beverly and her husband; they were super friendly and very accommodating with our musical car situation.
We had a full group of 12 people and four dogs. Activities included visiting Bodie, the largest and most well kept ghost town in California, Mono Lake, and the gorgeous Travertine Hot Springs just above Bridgeport. We also patroned the ever awesome Rhino Bar and Grill in Bridgeport. They make the best chicken wings!
I was designated Camp Chef this round, and my menu was quite ambitious:

The trip was lovely, and it was so great getting to hang out with amazing friends over the long weekend. Looking forward to our next trip!
